NiTH Major Short Story Contest 2016
What We Talk About When We Talk About Love Award
“It ought to make us feel ashamed when we talk like we know what we’re talking about when we talk about love.”
Short Story Contest Guidelines
In no more than 800 words write a short story that gives new meaning to our understanding of love.
Modern, timely stories might be the best way to approach the contest. But there’s also space for re-imagining old ideas, or celebrating what may have fallen out of fashion.
Most importantly, make sure your story is about love.
Final date for submissions is New Years Eve, 31 December 2015.
Short list will be posted 1st Febuary 2016 with a Winner announced in early March.
No more than 800 of you best, most scintillating words
First place receives $1000 AUD or equivalent.
2nd through 5th places will each receive a $200 Gift Voucher to spend on NiTH Writing Courses.
