SHORT STORY CONTEST GUIDELINES

In 700 words or less write a clickbait style article for an intergalactic travel website. You might do it at a listicle; ‘7 Things you have to do on Alpha Centauri’, or puff piece; ‘Astral Travel, Safer Than You Think’, or any other suitable style.

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS?

Due to the nature of this award there are no character requirements.

WHERE SHOULD IT BE SET?

This is a science fiction short stort contest, so you can use real astrological locations or ones you make up. Try to give a sense of place more than just,,, ‘This planet is hot dry’… Etc.

WHEN IS THE DUE DATE?

Entries are due on the 3rd April for a 10 April 2015 Winner Announcement.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS?

Demonstrating or critiquing clickbait style articles through a fictional clickbait article will definitely score extra points with the judges
