It’s almost showtime and someone’s suffocated the souffle! Deadline 24 April.
Less Is Moreish Culinary Reality Award
This is it.
You’ve worked hard to ascend to the finals of Cut The Mustard, the world’s most popular (and cutthroat) reality cooking show.
Assembled before you are the the judges, a Michelin hatted Chef, a fad diet entrepreneur, (Neolithic is the new paleo) a food blogger with over 100 thousand Instagram followers (60% or which are are real accounts!) and a TV star who portrayed a chef in a recently cancelled series.
The stage is set, you’re ready to best the competition and show the world that you’re the best amateur chef on television. Only there’s a problem.
Someone’s tampered with your tapioca, someone has stolen your skillet. Foul play is afoot, and you’ll need to solve it on the fly, cause we’re live in 15.
Writing in second person, show us what happens in those final moments leading up to the show, and perhaps the show itself. Who is trying to sabotage you… Is it one of the judges? Contests? Crew? And what is their motivation… Fame? Fortune? Dear of competition?
You’ll need to dig deep on this one and find your inner gourmand.
Reality TV mystery thriller / Second person narrative. (For good examples of second person, see the writing of Daniel Norrish.
