The Climate Fiction Collection

Collaboration Brief

This is one of those collaborations that everyone should want to be a part of. In the face of impending crisis on a global scale, we’ve all got a responsibility to look at where we are heading as a species.

While there are many arguments around what constitutes Climate Change and how we might be impacted, authors participating in this project will be expected to have a moderate understanding of the scientific consensus of Climate Change. Conversely, is not expected that the environment be the only concern of your story, as human drama, tragedy, and comedy is the heart of fiction.

Some themes you might want to consider:

  1. The everyday responsibilities and choices that impact our immediate environment.
  2. The role of Science & Belief in shaping our identities and culture.
  3. What it might be like to like in a radically different world. What’s different? What’s the same?
  4. How did we get here? What can we do to move forward?
